NCA delegation to Canberra 

The recent NCA and NORTH Link delegation to Canberra marked a significant milestone in fostering stronger connections between our Mayors, CEOs, MPs and other federal policymakers.

A range of meetings with Ministers, MPs and advisers underscored our collective commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by Melbourne’s north, such as transport and health infrastructure, precinct development and environmental sustainability.

Notably, we met with:

• the Hon Catherine King MP, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government

• the Hon Jason Clare MP, Minister for Education

• the Hon Ged Kearney MP, Member for Cooper and Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care and Assistant Minister for Indigenous Health

• the Hon Justine Elliot MP, Assistant Minister for Prevention of Family Violence and Assistant Minister for Social Services

• the Hon Darren Chester MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government and Territories

• Senator the Hon Bridget McKenzie, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development

• Senator the Hon Jane Hume.
