Melbourne’s north needs better transport: Mayors encourage you to have your say

In October we launched another stage in our Connect Melbourne’s North transport campaign, designed to improve transport options across the region.

Each of our seven Mayors has delivered a strong message via a video link, which was widely circulated across social and other media. The focus being on encouraging local residents and businesses to share their stories about transport.

Our community experiences severe road congestion, fragmented transport networks and overcrowded transport services on a daily basis. Without action, these challenges will continue to constrain our economic growth and limit access to jobs, education and healthcare.

Together, our seven Councils are pushing for real change. But we need your help. Whether you’re waiting too long for a bus or want to ride your bike but can’t find a safe route – your story matters. Each story we receive will add to the strength of our advocacy efforts.
